
Jillian Locke is a screenwriter based in Toronto.
She has served as Head Writer and Co-Executive Producer on several series, including the Netflix breakout hit WORKIN’ MOMS, starring Catherine Reitman, the female buddy-cop comedy PRETTY HARD CASES starring Meredith MacNeil and Adrienne C. Moore, and LAW AND ORDER CRIMINAL INTENT: TORONTO.
Jillian’s writing has been nominated for three Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Writing in 2024, and Best Comedy Series for Workin’ Moms in 2020 and 2021. Workin’ Moms was also nominated for an International Emmy during her tenure, in 2019.
Her feature film, A Year Without Sun was supported by Telefilm in 2025, and is set to shoot in October 2026.
